The Historic Dutton Ranch
The Dutton Family, with a history dating back to the late 1800s farming in Sonoma County, has been pivotal in Sonoma’s apple cultivation and wine-producing industry. In the 1960s, the Dutton family shifted their agricultural focus from to apple orchards with their move into the Sebastopol area. The cool climate and fertile soil of Sebastopol proved to be well-suited for apple cultivation. Dutton Ranch became known for its high-quality apple production, with various apple varieties grown on the property . Today, it stands as a testament to sustainable farming practices.
